Coffee has been important in French culture since the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I live in France so enjoy sitting, talking and drinking in a local
café-bar a few times every day as it is good for the soul ~ Ed Buziak

Bar Proposal

Commision I completed with some friends for a cafe/bar counter.

The idea was for the bar to be constructued out of individually cut layers of plywood that would then be sanded down, creating a stratified pattern across the undulating surface. The bar is u-shaped to maximise counter space. Amorphous bulges house the tills and cover the coffee machine/hot drink preperation area.

Unfortunatly due to budget changes a standard bar had to be installed.
